Red Passion

The main reason most people buy cars these days are simply for transport, and there's nothing wrong with that. We believe that cars should be a good tool that you can rely on to transport you anywhere you need to go, but we also believe that cars should be treated more than a tool. We like to treat cars not only as a tool, but also as a family, a friend, an important part of our life. You need to have passion for your cars.

Much like our friend, Defin, he has this red 2000 Toyota Soluna. A simple car, but he has a lot of passion for the car. He's a man who loves his car. And we like that, so we decided to schedule a photoshoot. The weather seemed friendly in the morning, but turned grey a few hours later, however that didn't stop us to do this photshoot.

Look at that, a man who loves his car. Wiping it carefully after a light rain.

There were modifications to this Soluna. First, Defin installed it with Vola Sunroof. Also, he installed rubber ducktail spoiler, which we like.

This Soluna is part of the Nozzle AutoClub.

Attention ladies, make sure you're build up if you want to ask him out.

Our favorite modification made to the Soluna are the wheels. It may not be a Mercedes, but we think it looks simply gorgeous with the 16-inch AMG Hammer 3-Piece. The classic AMG wheels look simply b-e-a-utiful.

Defin sure hates fake wheels.

We were just chilling at the parking lot, when suddenly we were told to go, so we packed our stuff, and went to Defin's campus to take a few more shots. We simply can't get enough of his car.

After a few hours, we were satisfied with our photoshoot. We got great photos, and got to see this passion red Soluna. So we packed our stuff, and waved goodbye to Defin and his car.

Quick Hellos From The Nihonjin's

A few days ago our photographer Joshua were sent on a duty for a very-small meet at the Cibubur Rest Area. Just a little number of cars showed up that day so, not much to do though..

As you can see.. Eight cars showed-up.. not very satisfying.. The yellow Suzuki Swift seemed to be an attraction.. We'll post about the Swift soon.
There's an All-New Subaru Impreza, two Honda Jazzes (including Josh's), a GT86, a Mitsubishi Gallant, a typical Indonesian Toyota Avanza (which seemed so mainstream these days) and also a very rare Datsun 180B from the 80's era.

This White Honda Jazz belongs to a racing driver named Boutros Hardiyanto, this is his race car. Hey, even a race car can be a road legal.

Something just catches me in the eyes when I take a first look on the photo and I kept saying in my mind "Race car no roll-bar?". But after I asked Josh quite a few times he answered, "It is his temporarly daily ride, he had the roll-bar removed the day before."

We'll post about him and his Honda Jazz soon also..

Next stop was the Sentul International Circuit, the weather wasn't quite friendly so it just became a quick stop. Hopefully small meets like this will continue and grow as the car trends grow as well.
